CAREER MANAGEMENT PROMOTES SHARI MOONEY TO ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. (8/14/07)—Career Management, an executive search firm specializing in the retail industry, has promoted Shari Mooney from director of research to account executive. In her new role, Ms. Mooney will be involved in the recruitment of candidates for executive positions at Career Management’s clients, primarily focusing on the apparel and home furnishings segments. She will also be involved in new business development. Ms. Mooney joined the research team at the firm’s East Brunswick office in March 2006 after spending over 20 years as a merchant in the specialty retail and direct response industries. She began her career as a merchant with New York & Co. (then a division of Limited, Inc.), spending 15 years with the Manhattan-based company, and subsequently held merchandising positions at Popular Club Catalog, in Garfield, N.J., and at Foot Locker, Inc., in New York. A resident of East Brunswick, Ms. Mooney holds a B.S. degree in marketing from Rutgers University and an Associate degree in applied science from the Fashion Institute of Technology. “Shari’s hands-on knowledge of various facets of both retail and direct response merchandising gives her great insight into the demands of the business and the talent needed for success in today’s environment,” commented Lloyd A.
